No Churn Strawberry Ice Cream

What is No-Churn Ice Cream?

No churn ice cream does not require an ice cream maker!  You can make this delicious creamy dessert without any special kitchen equipment.  Having an electric or stand mixer makes whipping the cream a speedier task, but you could even make this with just a bowl and a whisk!

All you need is four simple ingredients:

One can Sweetened Condensed Milk

One Jar Strawberry Whole Berry Jam (Peach 'Shine Jam is yummy too!)

One teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Two Cups Heavy Cream

No-Churn Jammy Ice Cream

Only four ingredients to make this delicious and easy no-churn jammy ice cream!  Our favorite jam to use is Strawberry-Whole Berry, but other fruity flavors make a great accent for this rich and creamy dessert.

No-Churn Jammy Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • Strawberry Whole Berry Jam (or any other fruit preserve)

Directions

  1. Whip 2 cups heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

  2. Whisk sweetened condensed milk and half the jar of jam in large mixing bowl.

  3. Fold whipped cream gently into milk and jam mixture until mostly combined. Pour in additional jam and swirl lightly to create streaks of jam.

  4. Transfer ice cream to metal or glass loaf pan and smooth top. Add last of the jam on top and drag tip of knife back and forth through the jam to create a swirly pattern.

  5. Freeze overnight until firm! Enjoy your creamy fruity ice cream with a bit of extra jam on top or see our extra tips below to serve up Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwiches with our Old Fashioned Scone Mix!

  1. To make Ice Cream Sandwiches line a square or small rectangular casserole dish with a sheet of parchment paper.

  2. Spread the ice cream to about 1” thick in the lined dish and spread a layer of jam on top.

  3. Freeze until firm and use a 3” round cutter and small offset spatula to cut circles of jam topped ice cream for your Strawberry Shortcake Sandwiches. Place cut circles on parchment lined sheet tray and return to freezer until ready to serve.

  4. Prepare a batch of Old Fashioned Scone Recipe using our baking mix, shape them into circles and cut them in half when cooled.

  5. Layer the ice cream circles between the top and bottom of the scones. serve and enjoy!
